A Page with Movement

A quick post for the June Counterfeit Kit Challenge #3, a challenge to have movement on a layout.  Check the blog today for other examples from the Master Forger team.

I just have a simple example of movement: a piece of hidden journaling behind a picture (hidden behind the picture on the lower right side of the page.

The story for these pictures is pretty straightforward. But the event behind the pictures made me think about my job change last year and my feelings about seeing people from my old job, and honestly it's just best that those thoughts not be out in the open. So those words are hidden. I cut an opening in the page protector so I can access it when I want to.

  2. I really like the design of this with the checked background, the large banner and the smaller strips - nice job! And yes, sometimes, it just needs tucking away :-)

  3. I love hidden journaling - not only does it allow you to, well, hide the journaling so its not out in the open, but it also gives you more room for scrappy yumminess on your layout! Love all the subtle layers.

  4. Love your take on the challenge! I often hide journaling when there is more to the story but not necessarily something I want everyone to read.
