Some Credit Card Companies Track Purchases At Thrift Stores
That the card companies would be watching purchases isn't news. But that they would use my transactions against me? Ugh.
I wonder what the rest of my transactions say about me? I grocery shop at Giant Eagle - since their prices are so high, that should show that I'm solvent, right?!
I heard about this too. Way to much information available to the retailer and creditors!

Wouldn't you think the credit card companies would just be interested in whether I pay my bill on time or not. Seems they want to know way too much. Hugs, Marty

May be someone who shops at a thrift store is a better risk because he/she is not buying what he/she cannot afford because he/she are being frugal and living beneath his/her means? This way, they will not get into trouble financially. I guess this concept never cross the minds of the bigwigs. Didn't they have any depression-era grandparents?
ReplyDeleteBuy the way...I love Columbus and miss living there all the time. Everyone is so friendly. I love the Short North, German Village, Worthington, The Whetstone Branch of the Columbus Library System...Krogers down South...Frank Road area. Tee Jay's, etc. etc.
