I'm back from vacation, and the first week back to work was brutal. But we're finally caught up on laundry, groceries and all the usual stuff, so I think I'm ready to get back to regular life.
I'm also having issues with my laptop - charger, so I don't have an easy way to get my kit pictures loaded here. So the best I can do is an iPad picture:
I haven't ever named a kit, but Picnics and Posies just came to me when I looked at all my supplies in one place. I resolved to use a lot of Jillibean Soup (stuff I got at the warehouse sale in March), and then little bits of other reds, blues, and yellows. I didn't have time to do any homemade embellishments, so I'll rely on my kit to make some things as I go along this month. The inspiration kit has lots of great potential ideas.
If you're hopping, the next stop is Susanne. Have a great week!
I like your smaller kit. I think the argyle paper is great.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back in the groove. Your kit looks great.
ReplyDeletelike the strong colours of this kit
ReplyDeleteoh i see so many goodies in this kit
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful kit!! Love this gorgeous collection of goodies!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those fun bits and bobs. Scrap on!
ReplyDeleteMmm, what a delicious looking kit!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for putting a kit together despite all your obstacles. IMO, the red gingham ribbons is a must in this month's kit. Fantastic job!
ReplyDeleteROFLOL, how did we almost name our kits the same???? Picnics and Posies, Pinwheels and Posies????!!!!! LOL Great minds think alike....maybe it was because you WERE so close in proximity to me. The Finger Lakes are just about 30--45 minutes away, depending on where you were. Gorgeous, isn't it? I hope you enjoyed it. I can't drink anymore so I'll have to trust you that the wine was good. Next time if you come into town, you'll have to let me know! Unfortunately, I was dealing with FIL's funeral last week. :( And don't you know, it cooled off this week...today it's 78 degrees here!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize I hadn't mentioned that I love your red, white and blue kit! So fun!!! I see the "at the lake" title!!! Cool!
DeleteWelcome back - I bet your vacation already feels like a lifetime ago! Great kit though - super bright red elements - especially the bones words - how perfect!
